Chelsea Rojas is a NYC girl born of Dominican parents. On weekdays she works as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist and on weekends she spends quality time sharing stories, laughs and good food with family and friends. She’s spent over 10+ years traveling and sharing the riches of the Theology of the Body to youth and young adults through her ministry, Corazon Puro. In her free time, you can find her being a health nut on IG @inthelittleways, hiking her neighborhood trails, or enjoying a sunset with a pretty skyline.

Rocio Perez is a nanny in NYC (and more recently, Berlin), as well as a student at the Augustine Institute where she is working towards a Master’s in Theology. She spent 2 years in Ethiopia as a missionary/volunteer with the Catholic Church. Prior to this, she spent time in youth ministry while actively discerning a religious vocation. She is now happily engaged to be married in October 2020. She enjoys chocolate, quality time with friends, writing poetry, and performing spoken word.

How we started…

As three friends who had been involved in various forms of ministry throughout the years in NYC/NJ and beyond, while in the middle of a heart to heart conversation one night, asked the million-dollar question:

“Why isn’t anyone talking about this?”

From that moment forward, we pursued this platform to provide a space for topics that had yet to be written by collaborating with women who desired to share their story or propose a perspective for reflection and discussion.

We welcome you to the conversation!

Our vision…

We believe in the power of storytelling to encourage honest discussion through the celebration of vulnerability. We do this in light of our Catholic identity for women of all walks of life.
